The Dishwasher Guy thanks you in advance for your compliance with our installation requirements. Rest assured we will do our very best to troubleshoot any unforeseen problems that may arise, however in some circumstances this may not be achievable.

Installation Rules:

Due to single man operations, the dishwasher guy is unable to install at properties where staircases are more than one flight with tight corners as we do not want to damage your appliance or property. Porch stairs, and straight flights of stairs will nil turning points are acceptable.

• Your installer will verify all mentioned conditions are met; if any issues are identified your install may not progress and need rebooking. You will not be charged for your install if this occurs.

• Appliance to be unpacked and readied for fitting 

• Appliance will be connected to nearby power and water sources already in place

      -Ensure your water valve (tap) is the correct thread and thread size for your appliance.

      -Electrical/water inlet connections are to be within 1.5m of appliance​

• For integrated dishwashers, you are responsible for ensuring you have the matching laminate and that it is sized correctly as per your needs and specifications of your dishwasher and space.

• If your dishwasher cannot be installed due to non-standard cabinetry, plumbing, electrical etc, then your dishwasher install will need to be completed by the qualified trades-person. You will not be charged if installation was not complete

• Make sure that any pets are monitored and are not in harm’s way during installation.

• We do not recycle old appliances - we hope to offer this in the future.

• We do not complete electrical, carpentry or plumbing. WE WILL provide standard installation works for inlet for waterproofing system and spigot

• We cannot alter doors/fixtures etc

• It is not the responsibility of the installer to clear the necessary pathway required to enter your property or your home and kitchen. Please ensure there is appropriate access. Heavy lifting outside of what is expected will not be performed. Only the old dishwasher and new dishwasher will be handled.

• The Dishwasher Guy reserves the right to not move forward with any installation if your dishwasher cavity has obstructive qualities such as non-standard bench tops, raised flooring and other obstructive fixtures. This protects our business, as well as your new unit and your home. Please discuss any non-standard modifications you have around your dishwasher cavity at the time of booking for troubleshooting around these issues.

What you can expect:

• We will be polite and respectful of you and your home and ensure your satisfaction post installation

• We will endeavor to complete installation hassle and worry free

• We will drill out the spigot required for your unit, and other minor works

• Your installer will have basic floor protection methods that are usually all that is required. If you need further floor protection, please ensure you have appropriate protections ready and available. 

• We will perform a thorough check to identify any visible faults or damage

• We will bring essential parts like clamps, connectors, and 1.5m drain hoses to help complete the job at no extra cost to you

• Your unit will be securely placed and levelled

• Your unit will be checked and run through a brief cycle to ensure it is in working order and balanced

• We will dispose of any packaging related to the install

To ensure safety:

• Safety footwear or any other personal protective clothing item cannot be removed when completing works in your home. This is a workplace safety issue and cannot be negotiated for any reason. Thank you for your understanding with this important safety requirement.
